Over the rainbow

When my cousin passed away, I made an huge image, an Emotional Landscape. It was my first creation in full vector. I had not seen my cousin for more than fifteen years and now she's gone.
Well, I think the image is easy to undertsand. I often think of her, and hope that she found a new life, over the rainbow.

This poster doesn't follow the precedent "Heart of Darkness", it completes it! Both images tell the process of creation and the birth of salvation.There is always a part of the creator that dies. Sometimes death can be a useful inspiration for another creation. It is almost like a phoenix. Creation rises from its own ashes and lives on as a new creation.
Heart of darkness

Inspired by the film "Pan's Labyrinth" from Guillermo Del Toro and the album "He Has Left Us Alone But Shafts Of Light Sometimes Grace The Corners Of Our Rooms" by A Silver Mt. Zion. From the movie I took the brutality and the power of dreams. The musical score lifted me up into higher realms. I do love the the contrast of light and darkness, passion and love. The bleeding heart is mostly created of imagges of flowers. The background is bright and accentuate the pain. This work lies between hope and despair.
